There's an advanced image processing engine to accelerate performance on all levels while conserving battery power and allowing more shots per charge
And with start up in just 0.18 of a second and 3fps continuous shooting, it's also an excellent camera for action photography
The D80 also includes a large 0.94x optical viewfinder, an ultra-bright 2.5 inch LCD screen with 170º viewing angle and a wide range of image enhancement options
Its attractive menu system includes flexible controls and in-menu help pages
There's smart auto tone selection and 3D Color Matrix Metering II automatic exposure control which ensures ideal exposures in most lighting conditions
With configurable Auto ISO (up to ISO 1600), configurable high ISO NR, in-camera retouching (including D-Lighting), built-in wireless flash commander and SD card storage (with SD-HC support)
